Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair

Posted in Uncategorized on October 28, 2010 by clareknoxbentham

Guess who forgot to take any more photos? Well, the show was great fun and I met lots of interesting people including visitors, volunteers and makers. The show ran really smoothly thanks to the sterling efforts of Ann-Marie and Angela who are amazing! It’s astounding how much creativity is out there – not only amongst the makers themselves but pretty much all the volunteers were creatives (hello to Steph aka Sunday Girl) and quite a lot of visitors themselves.

And of course a HUGE thanks to Ian at Glue Guns Direct (aka the most generous man in Oldham) without whom none of this would have been possible!

Oh my gosh it’s huge….

Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair previews tonight, public opening tomorrow. It’s twice as big as last year, with a second marquee. You can’t miss me, I’m right at the front door!

Sorry for the terrible quality of the photos, I took them on my phone. I’ll post some better ones next week. Hope to see you there!

Well, I’ve had no time for blogging because I’ve been making new work pretty much non-stop in time for The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair which previews on Thursday night this week (21st) and opens to the public on Friday 22nd until Sunday 24th. Here is the new stuff especially for you lovely people who look at my blog, an exclusive preview – feedback greatly appreciated!
